In November of 2006, the Wynn announced that they have been awarded both the Mobile Five Star and the AAA Five Diamond Ratings, making them the only casino resort in the world to receive both honors.
In addition, four of the Wynn's restaurants have been recognized by the AAA 2006 annual guide book that rewards attractions, lodgings and restaurants via the "diamond" rating system. The Wynn's signature gourmet restaurant, Alex, has also been awarded both honors. This additional distinction makes Wynn Las Vegas the only casino resort with both a fine dining and property Mobile five star and AAA five diamond distinction.

Le Reve will go dark starting March 6th through April 5th while the theatre undergoes an $8M renovation, according to the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
The "Le Reve" theater environment will be completely remodeled with a warmer palate, the most luxurious seats on the Las Vegas Strip and a VIP Indulgence Package complete with champagne bottle service and live, behind-the-scenes video monitors.

LAS VEGAS, March 8, 2007 -- Previews start tonight for the award-winning Monty Python's SPAMALOT starring John O'Hurley at Wynn Las Vegas, prior to an official opening on March 31.
Featuring a book and lyrics by Eric Idle, music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle, direction by Mike Nichols, and choreography by Casey Nicholaw, SPAMALOT is based on the screenplay of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" by Monty Python creators Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin.
